SATCOM easyLINK
The SATCOM easyLINK system consists of two main components:
- The Indoor-Unit including the IRD, encoder, modem and system control panel
- The Outdoor-Unit including a satellite antenna with a power amplifier
The outlets for a normal camcorder and microphone are connected by a normal BNC and XLR cable. Alternatively we recommend fibreglass cable, as both picture and sound can be integrated in them and because they also offer an outlet, for example, for a monitor. It is also possible to hook up all your audio-visual equipment and data storage cards, as well as your editing and post-production facilities.
The SATCOM easyLINK system offers the user all the benefits of a modern HD transmission in optimal audio-visual quality. Data IP via satellite is also possible. SATCOM skyNET gives users network connections between assorted broadcasters and recipients at the press of a button. Internet connections and a satellite-based data connection considerably simplify on-location productions.
